North Carolina's "Bathroom Bill" compromise passes

A bill to roll-back North Carolina's anti-gay "bathroom bill" has passed. The bill now goes to Democratic governor Roy Cooper for his signature. The governor and Republican legislative leaders agreed on the deal Wednesday night. The ACLU and gay-rights activists oppose the new bill, saying it leaves LGBTQ citizens unprotected from discrimination. The NCAA said North Carolina sites wouldn't be considered for future championship events without a change.
